April 3.....

Wow.. it's been sometime since i last blogged.. wait.. let me rephrase that ... A LONG LOoooOOoong Time! :)

I'm sooo happy! I just got a new guitar.. and you know what?? And you know what's pathetic? It's not an electric guitar, it's an Acoustic? I mean.. adrian chew.. playing acoustic guitar? you gotta be kidding me. Well u have to blame my darn fingers for touching that guitar in the first place. The sound, the finish, the beauty of 5 different exotic wood used on this guitar, totally seduced me.. and of course.. the brand larh! Taylor.. I mean this is not one of those cheap or should i say, the regular shelf guitars.. If you don't have at least 5k you can't get the cheapest one. Don't ask how much i paid for mine.. you will be thankful u didn't ask.. really.. :) but the good news is that i got it for a bargain.. =)

Chris ling lent me a cd.. the latest Jeremy Camp unplugged album.. guess what.. exactly the same brand, the same model.. a dreadnought shape with no cutaway... Nice... =)

Well for now, i play with my acoustic guitar more than my white baby. Sad huh..
I just realised that i have 4 nice guitars that i love so much.. all with a hefty price tag hence my taste for the best..well i talked to dad about getting my last electric.. actually the one that i always dreamt of.. it's about 12k.. hoping for it to come by the end of this year or mebe next year.. no idea.. might not even buy it.. but if i do get it.. it will be my LAST! I promise!

I have posted a few photos... have a look at it.. i got the bridge pins changed to nice gold bridge pins. U can see the wood 'figures' ... found on only high end guitars like this.. The 5 different kinds of exotic wood on my guitar is the Sitka Spruce, for the top of my guitar (as seen in the 2nd and 3rd photo) imported from the western regions of North America, then for the sides and back of my guitar is the African Mahogany from Africa, and for the neck of the guitar, American Mahogany.., then for the saddle and headstock, Indian Rosewood is used..and lastly the fretboard, which uses Ebony from east india... =) All exotic woods..

Haaah...Forgive me for my ego trip today... a man like me just loves his toys.. :)

Anyway..I'm tired from badminton with ken, serene and etc... gtg now... need sleep.. long day ahead tomorrow..
